Blog is a contraction of “web” and “log”. A teacher blog offers classrooms a web presence to post events, documents and accomplishments. Providing this publishing opportunity allows our classrooms to become part of the global community. Whether updated daily, weekly or by instructional unit, teacher blogs can become instant communication portals for parents to facilitate support for students’ efforts in the classroom.
Oconee County Schools staff can request a new blog site by completing the OCS Blogging Code of Ethics Form and emailing it to Amy Luckey. Typing your name on the signature line of this form indicates your acceptance of the usage agreement outlined in this form. The blog name you designate in the form displays as the title of the blog in most themes.
